The plain-English version

Privacy policy

I collect only what I need to create your business analysis, keep your account working, and protect the service from abuse. I don't sell your data, and I never share it for advertising.

Last updated August 18, 2026

What I collect

  • Account details. Your email address and your first or display name. Supabase Auth handles email-and-password accounts and Google Sign-In.
  • Information about your business. The business name and type you provide or confirm, your website URL, and your answers to the intake questions.
  • Public content from the website you submit. I read publicly available pages only—never logins or private areas—and keep a bounded text extract and summary with your analysis. Jina Reader performs the website read.
  • Your booking, if you schedule a call. When you book, I keep a copy of the appointment alongside Cal.com's: your name, email, phone number if you give one, time zone, the time you picked, and anything you typed in the notes box. That copy is how I prepare for our call. If you reschedule or cancel, my copy updates — including the reason you give for rescheduling or cancelling, if you write one.
  • Your IP address for abuse prevention. It appears only in short-lived rate-limit counters. I don't use it for tracking, profiling, or advertising.
  • Error diagnostics. Sentry receives error reports only. Before an error is sent, the app strips request bodies, cookies, headers, query strings, and user identity. Session Replay and performance tracing are off.

Cookies, without the runaround

This site sets essential cookies: the Supabase authentication session and one short-lived cookie that carries a pending analysis through signup.

It also uses Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies to count visits. That tells me how many people come to the site, which pages they actually read, and whether they arrived from Google, a link, or by typing the address. It does not tell me who you are.

There are no advertising cookies and no ad retargeting. I do not sell your data, and I do not use Google Analytics to build an advertising profile of you.

If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser add-on that turns Google Analytics off everywhere: the Google Analytics opt-out. Your browser's “do not track” or tracker-blocking settings also work.

The booking calendar is run by Cal.com and loads inside its own frame. It is not loaded on ordinary pages: your browser only fetches it once you move toward booking — hovering, tapping, or tab-focusing a “Book a call” button, or opening the booking page. From that point Cal.com may set its own cookies inside that frame, and anything you type into the calendar goes to Cal.com to make the appointment.

This site does not show a cookie consent banner. It is a US business serving US customers, where consent banners are not required; the analytics above are counting visits, not following you around the web. If that ever changes, this page changes with it.

How I use your information

I use it to create and save your analysis, run your account, prevent abuse, send service messages, and diagnose errors. Your business details and the public-site summary are sent to the model provider so it can generate your analysis.

Your data is never sold and never shared for advertising.

Service providers

These providers help operate the service and receive only the data needed for that job:

  • Supabase — database and authentication
  • Vercel — website hosting
  • OpenRouter and Anthropic (Claude) — AI-generated analysis
  • Jina Reader — reading the public website you submit
  • Google — Google Sign-In, only when you choose it; and Google Analytics on every page, which receives the page you viewed, roughly where you are (city level), and what kind of device and browser you used
  • Cal.com — scheduling, only when you book a call (it receives the name, email, and anything else you enter on the booking form, and sends me a copy)
  • Resend — email delivery through Supabase's configured SMTP
  • Sentry — PII-scrubbed error monitoring as described above

How long I keep it

Analyses are kept while your account is open. A pending analysis that is not claimed through signup expires after seven days and is automatically purged on a scheduled cleanup.

Bookings are kept while we're working together or talking about it, and you can ask me to delete yours at any time. Cancelling in Cal.com cancels the appointment; ask me directly if you also want my copy removed.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email jason@aisystemswithjason.com or call (832) 639-5923. I may need to verify that the account is yours before acting on a request.

Children

This service is not directed to children under 13.
